Kishan Devraj, UK-Qualified Optometrist & Honorary Clinical Research Fellow

Kishan Devraj is an accomplished optometrist and innovative thinker at the forefront of technology-driven eyecare. Currently, an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital and a PhD candidate at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, Kishan’s research focuses on harnessing smartphone technology to assess quality of life in eye disease. His pioneering contributions include co-creating the OverSight app, which earned him the Clinical Leader of the Future award (Optician, 2023) and recognition on the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur programme. Kishan also founded Clinician People, the company behind Ask Fellow Optoms, a unique app that leverages AI and social engagement to enhance clinician learning. Passionate about integrating digital innovation into clinical practice, Kishan continues to shape the future of vision care by bridging cutting-edge technology with patient-centered outcomes.
