We've been using Ocuco’s LMS software since inception in 2017. But I've also had the pleasure of using Ocuco in one form or another since 2006.
What is your favourite Innovations feature?
Workflow Monitor is a popular function for us. It allows us to view things like WIP (work in progress) and outstanding jobs, providing us with a way to manage quickly through a glance at a screen or whichever application we're using when we need to make changes. I think the machine interfaces are easy to use, and they give us the ability to scale equipment fairly quickly without having to spend significant time and resources on development.
I also use the reporting function quite a bit. This feature enables us to perform root cause analysis, isolating certain incidents and identifying trends that we may be seeing.
Would you recommend Innovations to other optical labs?
I definitely would. One of the things I've greatly enjoyed about Ocuco is their ability to form a partnership. They have been with us every step of the way in terms of our scaling. They are quick to respond, a pleasure to deal with, and extremely knowledgeable. One big plus is that they are always eager to teach, which allows us to develop internally and continue building our operation.
