Professor Bruce Evans has practiced as a community optometrist for over 40 years and is Visiting Professor to City, University of London and to London South Bank University. He is a Fellow of: College of Optometrists, American Academy of Optometry, European Academy of Optometry, and British Contact Lens Association. He has authored over 270 scientific and professional papers, nine editions of optometric textbooks, over 145 presentations at scientific conferences, and more than 250 invited lectures at CPD courses. His main areas of research are dyslexia and vision, myopia control, binocular vision (orthoptics), children’s vision, contact lenses, computer vision syndrome, and headaches including migraine.
