How InnovaWeb Works

InnovaWeb's user-friendly interface is accessible through any web browser, eliminating the need for complex installations. Users will find InnovaWeb’s interface intuitive and secure right from the initial screen. A VPN connection and credentials are required to access the system. Once the login is complete, the InnovaWeb dashboard will display and will showcase elements such as: 

  1. The home screen and its multiple functionality options 
  2. There can be multiple tabs of InnovaWeb in your browser so the LMS operator can focus on function and action 
  3. Dashboard metrics
  4. Scan and verify (lens, frames, and special order inventory)
  5. Inquire about orders in progress, on hold, or assigned to customer service for review. Advanced filtering and sorting options to put the information needed at your fingertips!
  6. Email customers immediately from the application

Key features include the ability to check job status by patient name or account, view all orders by account to provide customers with shipping updates, and supply tracking numbers. You can also email customers with order-related questions, add notes to orders, and obtain customer contact information for direct communication. Additionally, you can update the order status to 'on hold' for modifications or cancellations, assign or reassign orders, and access comprehensive order details.
  • Real-Time Status Updates: InnovaWeb's dynamic updates keep you abreast of job status changes. They mirror the functionality of traditional job tracking systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. 
  • Interactive Reports: InnovaWeb's interactive reports empower you to explore and customize your lab’s data, enabling deeper insights for effective decision-making. Russell Gagain has been with Ocuco for thirteen years, currently serving as the Product Owner of Innovations. With over 30 years in the optical industry, Russell began his career in the lab and quickly advanced to managing labs and stores. He has extensive experience in integrating and improving manufacturing processes, developing software and equipment for optical manufacturing, and working with machine vendors on OMA communication interfaces. Russell has also contributed to optical software development, including RxCalc and Innovations Lab Management Software (LMS), and has travelled globally for training and software implementation. Additionally, he has supported charitable organizations like the Gift of Sight, providing vision care in places such as The Gambia. Russell holds numerous optical certifications, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, and a Master’s in Business Administration.
