eCommerce Sales Executive, USA

Job Profile:

As eCommerce is the fast-growing segment in Ocuco, it has opened an excellent opportunity for a talented, self-starting eCommerce Sales Executive to join our North American team. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for growing eCommerce sales to Opticians, Optometrists and Ophthalmologists throughout the USA. In-depth training on Ocuco’s products and services will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales to new eCommerce customers of;
    • Websites, eCommerce, and Digital Marketing solutions
  • This will also involve;
    • Managing the sales pipeline, providing monthly and quarterly forecast
    • Recording all Sales related customer interactions in SalesForce (opportunities, visits, etc)
    • Creating Sales Quotes for all customers and prospects
  • Manage existing customer accounts;
    • Understand their issues and proactively monitor and escalate them to the development team
  • Attend tradeshows in North America; (Post-Covid)
  • Assist with the maintenance of all sales templates and marketing collateral
  • Support Collections when necessary
  • Liaise with Operations and Development teams to ensure successful deliveries

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Demonstrable success in a previous eCommerce sales role, ideally 3+ years of experience
  • A sound understanding of eCommerce solutions
  • Perfect fluency in English and both verbal and written
  • A proven ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and take ownership of tasks

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Previous experience in software sales or optical product sales
  • An IT or Business-related degree
  • Fluency in another major European language (such as Spanish, German or French)
  • IT-related experience troubleshooting and recording customer issues

Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to our installed customer base
  • Installing our software on customer’s sites

Job Profile:

Ocuco Shanghai Trading Company Ltd. is looking for a talented engineer to install our Lab Management System and train and support our customers in its use.  The successful candidate will need to be available to spend time in the USA for training on the Innovations system.  S/he will be given training on the operation of an optical laboratory and the operation of the software within the laboratory.

Responsibilities:

  • Innovations LMS support and installation.
    • Install Innovations (our Lab Management System) and train customers in its functionality
    • Develop and maintain project plans in Smartsheets (Project management software)
    • Provide first-line support to customers in Asia, Europe, and Australia
    • Record all issues in JIRA
    • Liaise with the development team to troubleshoot critical and urgent issues
    • Extoll the virtues of the new system and build confidence in Ocuco and the Innovations product
  • Become the Innovations application Guru
  • Additional functions
  • Testing of new software
  • Documenting installs

The successful candidate must have most of the following:

  • An IT related qualification
  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English
  • A proven ability to follow processes and procedure
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and problem-solving skills.
  • Good customer service and presentation skills
  • No restriction on travel and a full driving licence
  • Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and take ownership of tasks

  • Training experience or qualification
  • Over 2 years Optical or IT industry experience
