Job Profile:

Ocuco is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Global Development team, to be responsible for planning, leading, organising and controlling all phases of multiple projects which are led by the PMO. This includes delivery of our flagship product to major customers but also some internal projects which may relate to process improvements and other internal system improvements. The Senior PM manages senior stakeholders and will independently manage the day-to-day decisions needed to deliver the project on time and on budget, including being able to approach senior stakeholders and present problems and solutions with the required escalation, both internally and externally.

The role is an exciting diverse role, working with an international team of product managers, developers, QA, trainers, installers, and above all international customers who are often in different time zones. Ocuco’s Development team operates within the Scaled Agile Framework to manage teams, programmes, and the portfolio. The successful candidate will be expected to work within them and Ocuco’s own processes, as well as work independently to develop and manage project plans, schedules, resource allocation, risks, issues, and reporting to ensure the successful completion of the project on time and within budget. They will be a key contributor and driver to the implementation of new processes in the organization’s continual improvement and the implementation of project management processes in customer organizations where this is key to our successful delivery.

As a Senior Project Manager, there is also a requirement to satisfy internal regulatory and project financial reporting requirements to the finance department.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the completion of all stages of the project lifecycle including the development of project plans, status and budget reports for several projects across Ocuco Group, while maintaining focus on the Customer
  • Advocate and ensure agile processes are adhered to and mentor those who need training/guidance
  • Concurrently manage several projects of different sizes, in different lifecycle phases, geographies and different time zones
  • Lead and coach cross-functional project team members to ensure maximum participation, productivity, and successful delivery, including Product Owners, Developers, QA team, Professional Services Engineers and Customers
  • In some circumstances direct a Junior PM or Project coordinator to assist in project delivery
  • Implement and rollout SAFe processes to the organisation
  • Ensure Quality Assurance processes are followed
  • Risk management, mitigation and reporting
  • Stakeholder management
  • Project status reporting, financial reporting and project budget reporting

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Proven track record of project management independent delivery of large, complex projects for at least 5-10 years
  • Current or previous project management formal training and associated qualification, such as PRINCE2 or PMI
  • Current or previous Scrum certifications and experience
  • Excellent knowledge of the fundamentals of project management in the software development space
  • Understand and be able to articulate the project management life cycle
  • Experience of design and implementation of software development/technology processes
  • Superb organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving and management skills
  • Proven experience of senior stakeholder management and project team management
  • Perfect fluency in verbal and written English
  • Experience and confidence in customer-facing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Project, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Ocuco is offering an exciting opportunity for a technically gifted Installation and Training Associate with an IT-related qualification to join our Global Operations team.

The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of our software and use their technical ability to provide installation, training and consultancy services for Ocuco. Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring our software on customers’ sites to align with their business processes/requirements
  • Working with Implementation Managers to understand customer needs and success metrics for our customer deliveries
  • Remote and On-Site customer training

  • Proactively identify potential issues and drive resolution to avoid customer impact

Job Profile:

The Senior QA Engineer will learn and work with fellow QA Engineers to ensure that Ocuco’s Quality Assurance processes are understood, implemented and continually improved. Ocuco uses Agile processes, therefore the successful candidate will spend most of their time working with developers in a scrum team, to ensure that the team meet their goals and quality release-able software is produced from sprint to sprint. The successful candidate will report to the QA Manager. Excellent communication skills are required to continuously liaise with developers, product owners, scrum masters, project managers, as well as IT and Support teams. In some cases, there may be direct interaction with customers, to assist them with the development of test case scenarios and reproducible steps to resolve issues. The focus is on quality; therefore the individual must be meticulous and thorough, well organised and have good documentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively work within a scrum team to ensure successful delivery, based on the definition of done
  • Ensure each release candidate of all Ocuco products follows a complete test cycle and verify that it meets Ocuco’s high standard of quality
  • Record all actions and communications on any issue/query resulting from testing into Ocuco’s tracking system (JIRA)
  • Develop Test Cases from business requirements, document and execute them in Ocuco’s Test Management System (TestRail)
  • Expand the Functional/ Regression test cases as new features are added to Ocuco’s products
  • Continuously develop and refine own product usage, industry, training and technical writing expertise
  • Contribute to developing appropriate test strategies and detailed test plans Provide mentoring and guidance to team members

Job Profile:

Ocuco Shanghai Trading Company Ltd. is looking for a talented engineer to install our Lab Management System and train and support our customers in its use.  The successful candidate will need to be available to spend time in the USA for training on the Innovations system.  S/he will be given training on the operation of an optical laboratory and the operation of the software within the laboratory.

Responsibilities:

  • Innovations LMS support and installation.
    • Install Innovations (our Lab Management System) and train customers in its functionality
    • Develop and maintain project plans in Smartsheets (Project management software)
    • Provide first-line support to customers in Asia, Europe, and Australia
    • Record all issues in JIRA
    • Liaise with the development team to troubleshoot critical and urgent issues
    • Extoll the virtues of the new system and build confidence in Ocuco and the Innovations product
