Job Profile:

Ocuco Group is looking for a Data Security Manager to join our busy IT and Operations team.

This is an excellent permanent opportunity to work with various established teams and individuals with a strong chance of progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and implement security process and procedure to Achieve ISO 27001 certification
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR and HIPAA and actively improve privacy and security throughout various departments
  • Improve security operations and security visibility across all our environments
  • Answer customer security questionnaires and present security framework and initiatives to new customers
  • Work closely with IT and other teams to drive procedural integration and process adoption
  • Maintain technical ability to run security operations and act as a point of contact for the group regarding all security requirements
  • Centralise the management of all security-related environments in the Dublin office
  • Report to the company bi-monthly on security initiatives and projects
  • Perform and manage assessments against organisation; Risk, Gap, Third-party, Internal Audit, Vendor

The desired knowledge areas are:

  • Information/Cybersecurity: Strategy, Project Management, Architecture, ISMS, Security Operation Centre (SOC), Policies and Standards, Third-Party Risk, Network and Systems Security, Penetration Testing, Information Asset management and classification
  • Technologies: Endpoint protection, IAM, SIEM, Firewalls (Palo Alto), IPS/IDS, VPN, DLP, eDiscovery, Spam Filtering, Threat Intelligence, etc.
  • Practices: NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO27001, SANS, OWASP
  • Compliance and Audit: GDPR, HIPAA
  • Technologies: MS Products, Linux, Azure, SDLC, Agile, Networking, TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP, Web Apps
  • Enterprise Risk Management: ISO-31000.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience managing small to medium projects
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with product development and IT Teams
  • Experience working with various teams from HR, IT, Operations
  • Experience with implementing processes and systems that are compliant with legislation.

Position type: Full time and permanent.

Reporting: To the Operations Director.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and skills.

Professional Services Engineer – Lab – Shanghai

Innovations, our lab management system, is installed in over 2500 laboratories, as well as 5 of the top 10 US optical retailers and is the most widely distributed Laboratory Management System in the world.

 

Job Profile:

Ocuco Shanghai Trading Company Ltd. is looking for a talented engineer to install our Lab Management System and train and support our customers in its use.  The successful candidate will need to be available to spend time in the USA for training on the Innovations system.  S/he will be given training on the operation of an optical laboratory, and the operation of the software within the laboratory.

Responsibilities:

  • Innovations LMS support and installation
    • Install Innovations (our Lab Management System) and train customers in its functionality
    • Develop and maintain project plans in Smartsheets (Project management software)
    • Provide first line support to customers in Asia, Europe, and Australia
    • Record all issues in JIRA
    • Liaise with the development team to troubleshoot critical and urgent issues
    • Extoll the virtues of the new system and build confidence in Ocuco and the Innovations product
    • Become the Innovations application Guru
  • Additional functions
    • Testing of new software
    • Documenting installs.

The successful candidate must have:

  • An IT related qualifications
  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English
  • A proven ability to follow processes and procedure
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and problem-solving skills
  • Good customer service and presentation skills
  • No restriction on travel and a full driving licence
  • Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and take ownership of tasks.

The ideal candidate might also have :

  • Training experience or qualification
  • Over2 years Optical or IT industry experience.
