Ocuco Shortlisted for Irish Software Association Awards 2015

Ocuco Ltd. has been shortlisted for the 2015 Irish Software Association (ISA) Digital Technology Company of the Year award. Of the 26 companies that were vying for the title at this year’s ISA Awards only 5 have been nominated.

Nearly 70 technology companies, of which 5 have been shortlisted.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Leo MacCanna has been invited to represent Ocuco before an independent panel of judges composed of CEOs from other successful Irish software and digital technology companies.

Nearly 70 technology companies and organisations from across Ireland have entered this year’s ISA Awards, which is to be held on the 20th of November in Dublin. The event will be hosted by journalist and broadcaster Sharon N Bheolin, and the keynote speaker will be Matt Mullenweg, founder and CEO of Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, Akimset, Jetpack and Vaultpress.

Speaking on these awards, the Director of ISA, Paul Sweetman said: “The Software and digital technology sector in Ireland is thriving. Year on year, stellar companies are entering the awards and 2015 is no exception. I would like to extend my congratulations to all of these companies that entered the awards. It is the tireless efforts of those working in these companies that bring Ireland to the fore of the global technology sector”.
