Ocuco Announces new Webinar Series for Opticians

Ocuco proudly presents a new series of webinars over the coming months, open for all opticians to attend. A webinar is an online meeting where the participants can listen in to highly relevant material on subjects they choose. Typically lasting just 30 mins, they are a very efficient way to learn, without leaving the comfort of your own practice or home.

This series is designed to help opticians understand key areas where they can streamline practice operations and improve business results. The live events will cover such subjects as Recall Optimisation, Paperless Practice, Electronic GOS Claiming and VAT Optimisation, to name a few.

Getting involved is simple and costs nothing, just register for the webinar beforehand and an email will be sent to you with a link to the webinar, which you click on at the appointed time the webinar is scheduled. The format is usually listen only but you can submit any questions by typing into a text box.

The first in the series of webinars, Recalls: Best Practice, describes strategies for increasing the number of patients attending the practice and how to reduce the cost of recalls.

Following Recalls will be a webinar on Business Intelligence, demonstrating how to access the business metrics data within your Practice Management System, and how this information can be employed and illustrated to assist in management decisions for your practice and create targeted marketing for existing patients.

And then the VAT Optimisation for Opticians webinar will be a brief guide to some tax-efficient methods opticians can adopt, which can lead to considerable savings across a trading year.

The series was recently previewed with a webinar on electronic GOS claiming which received great feedback. You can find the video and presentation slides for this and previous webcasts at www.ocuco.com/webcast.html.
